By Train: New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station is the closest major railhead. Shared jeeps or private taxis connect via Kalimpong.
By Road: Rishop is accessible via a steep uphill drive from Lava (around 4 km). A 4×4 is recommended in monsoon; adventurous travelers can also trek up.

October to April is ideal for crystal-clear mountain views and cool weather.
