Sandhan Valley, often called the Valley of Shadows, is one of the most thrilling natural wonders in Maharashtra. How to Reach:
By Air: The nearest airport is Nashik (90 km) or Mumbai (180 km). From there, drive or take a bus to Bhandardara or Samrad village, the starting point of the trek.
By Train: Igatpuri and Kasara are the nearest railheads. Shared jeeps and local taxis are available from the station.
By Road: Sandhan Valley is accessible by road via Ghoti–Bhandardara route. Regular buses and private vehicles ply the route.

Best Time to Visit:
November to February is ideal for trekking and camping.
Avoid monsoon months (June–September) as water levels rise and the terrain becomes slippery.

Day 2: Morning breakfast → Return trek or onward to Ratangad Fort → Depart via Bhandardara.
