How to Reach :

By Air: The nearest airport is Mangalore International Airport (173 km). From there, you can hire a cab or take a bus to Chikmagalur.

By Train: The closest railway station is Kaduru (40 km) or Birur (52 km), connected to Bengaluru and other major cities. From there, taxis and local buses are available to reach Chikmagalur and then Mullayanagiri.

By Road: Mullayanagiri is about 20 km from Chikmagalur town. The road to the base is well maintained, and adventure seekers often prefer biking or driving through the scenic Chikmagalur–Baba Budangiri route. The last stretch can be covered either by trekking or a short jeep ride.

The best time to visit Mullayanagiri is between September and May.

– Winter (November–February): Offers crystal-clear views and pleasant weather for trekking.
